We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Consortium of Academic Programs in Clinical Research (CoAPCR). This year's meeting will take place October 8th to 9th, 2026, on the beautiful campus of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

The meeting will focus on Beyond the Trial: Reimagining Clinical Research for a Changing World with a dynamic lineup of sessions, keynote speaker, and workshops at Duke University's Trent Semans Center for Health Education. The meeting will be held in-person, with a virtual attendance option via web conferencing.

OBJECTIVES

The annual meeting serves as a crucial platform for career development and innovation in clinical research education and training. Attendees will:

• Strengthen academic collaboration in clinical research education and training.
• Connect early-career researchers with mentors, educators, and industry leaders.
• Showcase best practices in developing apprenticeship programs and professional training.

BENEFITS

As a benefit of CoAPCR membership, registration fees are part of 2026-2027 annual dues. The CoAPCR leadership continues to work on ways to make this conference accessible, affordable, and relevant to our members.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

We are accepting session proposals until 5 PM EST, July 1st, 2026, for workshops, panel discussions, and presentations. Consistent with the theme of the annual meeting we are seeking proposals on teaching, employment, & training; workforce development & retention; connecting clinical research & healthcare; and, advocacy & awareness.

Poster presentation proposals are being accepted until 5 PM EST, July 30th, 2026. All attendees are encouraged to submit session and poster proposals that highlights their organization, research findings, professional practice, or scholarly work.

REGISTRATION

Register using the event webpages or the link below. Registration is required to get access to the hotel group block ($165/night from October 7th to 10th, 2026) and is necessary prior to submitting a proposal for a session or poster.
