The Clinical Research Management Program was established in 2008. In 2018 we added a Regulatory Science Program. We applied for accreditation from CAAHEP in 2018 and are the first accredited clinical research program in the in the US. The Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University offers three graduate degrees: Clinical Research Management, Clinical Research Management (Regulatory Science), Regulatory Science, and Regulatory Science with a concentration in Food Safety. This program is 33 credits and completely online. We also offer a graduate certificate in clinical research management. In fall 2023, we will be implementing a Doctorate of Professional Practice, Regulatory and Clinical Research Management.
Our program has students from around the US and 25 countries. Courses and assignments are geared to provide students not only with knowledge but the skills and ability to meet the needs of the industry. Course activity requires students to take the materials covered and apply them to situations, scenarios, regulations, roles, etc. in the industry. Although we do not require internships in our program we have a large partner alliance with pharmaceutical companies, government agencies, CROs, research sites and more that offer experiential and internship opportunities to our students. Our partners are local, national and international. Our programs provide students the opportunity to learn and gain experience at the same time.
